Learning & Writing Center Tutor Application

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this application.

Attention: Along with this application, prospective tutors will need to hand in the following information:

  1. A letter of recommendation sent to Michael Sano at mjsano@usfca.edu from the USF Professor that you have taken for each subject you would like to tutor.
  2. A FULL copy of unofficial transcripts (this can be located on USFConnect under "school services" and then "web for students") must be turned in to the Learning & Writing Center at Cowell 227 or sent via email to mjsano@usfca.edu.
  3. Request a work clearance form from the Student Employment office (Lone Mountain 251) and walk the form into the Learning & Writing Center at Cowell 227.

Please be advised that all tutors will be required to attend paid training sessions. At this time, we are not seeking tutors for modern languages or writing. Thank you for your interest in USF's Learning Center.
